Te Kura Kaitiaki EDVisit Options
1. Te Puia Daytime EDVisit - Duration 1hour
This is a Standard Visit to Te Puia. This EDVisit builds on Te Puia’s unique foundations and offers new ways to experience and interact with Māori culture and the history and environment of the Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley. (Excludes Cultural Performance and other optional Activities).
2. Te Puia Daytime COMBO EDVisit - Duration 1 3/4 hours
This option is enhanced with the inclusion of a Cultural Performance. You have the choice of attending the cultural performance prior to your guided tour or as the finale to conclude your visit.
(Performance times are: 10.15am, 12.15pm and 3.15pm)
3. Te Puia Daytime Cooking EDVisit - Duration 1 1/2 hours
Feeling hungry? This option includes a standard visit with some food cooked in our very special hot pool, Ngāraratuatara. This is a popular option amongst our students. Please supply your own kai (food): eggs/corn. (Excludes Cultural Performance).
4. Te Puia Daytime Deluxe COMBO EDVisit - Duration 2 1/4 hours
This option is considered to be the premium cultural option. All of the above options are included in this programme. Participants will be exposed to many of the significant features relevant to our culture, place and heritage.

Te Wharau:
A FREE sheltered area used with school groups as a seated discussion area, snack / lunch area or activity space.
Waka Express:
Electrically powered people movers. The Waka Express offers an additional experience to your Te Puia EDVisit.
Pohutu Café:
An excellent food and beverage outlet offering a range of meals, light snacks & refreshments. We also have a special EDVisit rate for a hangi basket lunch. If you are interested in this option please request when making your booking.
Tāonga Gallery & Gift Store:
The Tāonga Gallery is home to many of these beautiful items created here at Te Puia and around the country. Te Puia’s Gift Store offers an extensive range of unique gifts, making it a great place to end your visit.
