Hiakai Café is open daily from 9am – 4pm providing food and drinks to all manuhiri (visitors).
Our cabinet is well stocked with delectable treats from savouries and sandwiches, to freshly baked muffins, scones and pastries. Our daily lunch menu serves hot kai options, while our selection of aihikirīmi (icecream) and cold drinks are popular over the summer months.
Get your kawhe (coffee) fix onsite at Te Puia from Hiakai Café. Whether you prefer a mōwai (flat white), rate (latte) or tiakarete wera (hot chocolate), our freshly roasted coffee beans and trained baristas serve up delicious kawhe daily.
Bookings are not required, come on in via the main entrance or Waharoa to Te Puia!
