The guiding legacy of Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley continues to this day… Nau mai, haere mai.
Your cultural performance (Haka) begins at 10.00am and concludes at 12.15pm, daily.
This exhilarating combo extends out from our Te Rā Guided Experience by offering a leading cultural performance in our beautifully carved meeting house, Te Aronui a Rua. It will include a Pōhiri (Traditional Māori Welcome), Waiata (Song), Mōteatea (traditional chant), Poi and Haka.
Enter the geothermal valley on our waka (people moving vehicle) and discover one of New Zealand’s most magnificent geothermal wonderlands – featuring dramatic geysers, bubbling mud, and beautiful native bush.
For generations Te Puia has welcomed manuhiri (visitors) from all over the world to explore the magic hidden within Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley and we look forward to guiding you on your tour.
